The filtersystem Reef 500 is a compact 3-stage unit for use in the cabinet under the aquarium. The system is a modular construction and can be enlarged or completed on demand. The system consists of a pre filtration module for mechanical filtration, filled with sponge, a Turboflotor 1.000 protein skimmer with venturi pump and needle wheel, and a post switched trickle filter filled with Bactoballs for biological filtration. Optional is a glass filter sump. This sump is designed to take in addition a Calcium Reactor and a Nitratereductor.

Reef 1000.
The filtration system reef 1000 is designed for the use in a cabinet. It contains in a compact space all elements, that are necessary for the successful maintenance of a modern reef aquarium - without any compromises. The focal point of the water treatment is protein skimming. The reef 1.000 consists of a filter sump, 90 x 36 x 35 cm (36 x 14,5 x 14 inches), with mechanical filter chamber with sponge. From here, the water flows via two venturi pumps into both Turboflotor 1.000, with their connected trickle filters. The other components are the Nitratereductor, the Calcium Reactor and the Niveaustat, a storage tank for topping up the tank.

Marin 500.
The filter system Marin 500 is designed for use inside of the aquarium. It consists of a filter tank with the dimensions 48 x 18,5 x 48 cm (19" x 7,5" x 19"). Via a surface overflow and pre filter sponge, the water comes to the protein skimmer (Midiflotor). From here, the water is pumped to a trickle filter with Bactoballs for biological filtration and to a Nitratereductor.. A second pump with capacity of 1.000 Liter/Hr (250 gph) pumps the water back to the aquarium. With the Marin 500, existing aquariums can be transferred into powerful seawater tanks without any plumbing or interruptions into the glass.

The filtration system Marin 1.000 is designed for use in the cabinet under the aquarium. It consists of a closed filter sump (54 x 36 cm / 22 x 14 inch) to take up the filter modules. The modules can easily be reached through 2 sliding doors for maintenance. For installation, the top lid of the filter can also be removed. The water that comes from the aquarium first is treated with 3 trickle filter modules filled by Bactoballs for biological filtration. The other components are a Turboflotor 1.000 protein skimmer and a Nitratereductor.
