The SeaClone is powered by a MaxiJet 1000 (included) and can be used either as an external 'hang-on' or an 'in-sump' model. Designed for aquariums up to 100 gallons. The Overflow Extention is an optional extra for aquariums with a greater than 1" brace.

Aqua - Medic Miniflotor.
The Miniflotor is a small but powerful air driven inside protein skimmer. Its characteristics are the two concentric reaction tubes. In the inner tube, the air bubbles rise and take a lot of water with them. This water falls down in the outer tube and takes lots of air bubble with it - down to the expansion cone. Here the bubbles turn and rise up again - through the counter current. This ensures a long reaction time of the bubbles in the water and an effective skimming. Aqua - Medic Midiflotor.
The Midiflotor is an air driven counter current skimmer for aquariums up to 400 l (100 Gallons). Like the Miniflotor, the Midiflotor is supplied with the double reaction tube for a long reaction time of the air bubbles in the current. Its conical foam cup ensures a quick extrusion of the foam into the cup. The strong holding system allows moving the skimmer vertically to adjust the foam production zone. Aqua - Medic Turboflotor 750.
The Turboflotor 750 is a compact, motor driven inside protein skimmer. It is supplied with a big volume prefilter for mechanical filtration. The venturi pump, 10 Watt, with needle wheel, sucks the air in automatically mixes it with the water and pushes the mixture into the reaction pipe (75 mm, 3 inch diameter). The pipe has an expansion cone with postfilter at ist bottom end. The foam cup is conical shaped to improve the ejection of foam. The Turboflotor 1.000 is a compact skimmer with integrated trickle filter for the under counter filter system. It consists of a venturi pump with needle wheel, that mixes air with water and pushes both into the reaction pipe (110 mm, 4,4 inches diameter). The design ensures an intensive mixing and a long retention time of the bubbles in the water, until the foam is pushed into the conical foam cup. From the reaction pipe, the water flows into the connected trickle filter. Aqua - Medic Turboflotor 5000.
The skimmers of the series 5.000 have been developed for bigger aquariums. Like the smaller models, they are supplied with venturi pumps that include a needle wheel for mixing air and water. The reaction pipe has a diameter of 200 mm (8 inches). The foam cup is conical shaped, to improve the foam production. The design of inlet and outlet ensure a long retention time of the bubbles in the skimmer. Aqua Medic Turboflotor 20000
With the production of this skimmer Aqua Medic enters the area of water treatment for the large professional aquariums - with their demand for exceptioal engineering combined with an outstanding relationship between price and quality. The Aqua Medic Turboflotor 20000 is a scaled up version of our proven Turboflotor 5.000 series. As with the smaller skimmers, it is manufactured from injection molded ABS fittings and acrylic tube. A powerful pump is combined with an original Mazzei venturi to provide an injection of c 3500 l/h. As an alternative, the skimmer is also offered with a pressure pump and needle wheel. This option, whilst achieving significant energy savings (consumption 250 Watts) has a reduced air throughput (c. 2.800 Liter air /hr). The maximum water flow rate is 20,000 Liter (5.000 Gallons) per hour. For larger installations several units may be run in parallel. The Turboflotor 20000 is designed for larger tanks in public aquariums and for commercial use for pet fish importers and distributors. It has applications in closed commercial systems, such as import or export holding units for lobster, crayfish and oysters, as well as for fish breeding or growing on fingerlings.
